In Australia, both front doors on all vehicles are permitted a total of 35% VLT. This means that 35% of the total Light must still transmit through all the glass that is fitted on the driver and passenger front doors.
In most states of Australia, a total of 20% VLT is permitted for all windows the that are located behind the driver seating position. This means that a total of 20% of the Light must still transmit past the glass.

In most cases, you’ll find that it is not technically permitted on most vehicles.
