Terms, Conditions and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)

1. Payment Options & Applicable Fees - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
1a) Payment terms are strictly C.O.D (Cash On Delivery)
1b) CASH: Payments will need to be provided to us with the correct amount of notes and coins in Australian Currency.
1c) MONEY TRANSFER or DIRECT DEPOSIT to our nominated bank account that is stated on our invoice. You will need to email or SMS your proof of payment. If you choose this option, your transaction will need to be completed prior to the completion of our works.
1d) PAY ID payment to the details as stated on our invoice.
1e) TAP & PAY: A fee of 2.0% of the total amount payable will be added and charged.
1f) CREDIT or DEBIT CARD by phone: A fee of 2.3% will be added and charged.​
1g) Not all options that are stated in our 1. Payment Options & Applicable Fees (version 28.5.25) may be available or accepted. All payment options available to you will be specifically detailed on our invoice.
1h) A copy of your Tax Invoice that includes your payment amendment will be emailed​ to you after your funds have been cleared, and your paperwork has been processed. We do not provide you with a physical or a hard copy.
1i) We do not provide you with a physical, or a hard copy of your payments. If you choose to pay with cash, you can request an email, or an SMS confirmation of the that you have paid.

2. Onsite Quote - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
2a) Onsite measure and quotes are charged according to your house property location and your appointment requirements.
2b) The minimum prepaid non refundable charge for our service is $50.00 plus our call out fee that will be estimated and calculated in accordance to your booking appointment request, and your location.
2c) Our visit time will be limited to one hour.
2d) Our service may include a consultation or help to better understand the different tints available, including their function and appearance.
2e) Please be mindful that you are responsible to decide what product or work you choose to take place.
2f) Internal photos of your windows, including the areas that surround it, will be taken for quoting and warranty coverage purposes.
2g) You are required to advise us if we will need to provide our own safe to reach equipment including ladders, trestle scaffold, or scissors lift to safely reach your windows to quote. ​

3. Virtual Quotes - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
3a) If you choose to measure your own windows for a quote, you are required to advise the glass dimensions. Measure only the part of the glass that is visible.
3b) Clarify the units of length used in your measures.
3c) Confirm the product that you want to have installed.
3d) Advise of any existing window film and glass treatment, or of any other product or material that you require to have removed from the glass, include aluminium dressing strips, vinyl, adhesive and residue.
3e) Detailed information of any windows that are of reaching height greater than 2.2 meters from the floor to the top of the glass including windows that are located on or above a Staircase, up high against a wall, or up above in the ceiling.
3f) Specific details of any window that is located in a Kitchen with a bench top of any length wider than 60 centimetres, or windows that are in direct, or close proximity to a stove. Glass, doors or windows in a Bathroom, including a shower, spa bath, bathtub or basin. Glass on a Front Entrance area, including Doors and fixed in position with one or multiple glass inserts or sections. Automatic or sensor activated doors that open and close. Window or door design of a Colonial style or that are divided in multiple sections, or odd shaped glass like semi-circular, triangular or wavy. Window made from other material other than glass, like Perspex, plastic, or acrylic.
3g) Advise the type of construction material that holds your Window, door, or glass in position including aluminium or timber frames, wood and silicon. Windows with Internal Security Screens that are fixed, and fastened securely in position.
3h) Advise of all obstructions of easy access to the glass that needs to be tinted or worked on, including fixed furniture, desks, electronics, benches and shelves.
3i) Advise of Glass surfaces that you require to be worked on that are located in an indoor, or outdoor swimming pool or spa, a balcony, and any other window tint application that you require works on the external surface.
3j) You are required to provide a photo ​of each window, door, or glass that you need quoted.

4. Booking Appointments & Inquiries - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
4a) All bookings will require our written quote and agreed upon.
4b) Booking Appointments must be complete and confirmed in writing via SMS, Email, Website, or via Social Media.
4c) Bookings in advance are essential and a minimum of two days notice is recommended.
4d) All our booking appointment offers come with a time limit. If we do not receive your booking confirmation before your offer expires, your booking will then be available to our next customer.
4e) All new customer details will need to be complete in writing as requested prior to obtaining a final booking confirmation. Your full name, address, email, mobile number, and vehicle number plate numbers or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) will be required in writing. If we do not receive your personal details as requested in writing, we may cancel your booking appointment.
4f) A photo of your vehicle may be requested for vehicle identification and warranty purposes.
4g) If you are making a booking appointment on behalf of someone else, and you require to have the invoice with their personal or business details, we will require their written consent via SMS before we can proceed.
4h) A written reply via SMS, social media or email to confirm your booking when requested is essential. This message is usually sent out the day prior to your booking appointment. If we do not receive a written reply, your booking appointment status will continue as previously discussed and confirmed.
4i) Calls will not be attended during public and school holidays,
4j) Calls may not be attended at any given time, however, if you call from a mobile number, we will SMS relevant information.
4k) All our services are limited or not available during weekends, public holidays, school holidays and dangerous or bad weather events.
4l) Calls from hidden and private numbers will not be attended.
4m) Our response and replies to all inquiries are not subjected to a timeframe. We will attended to your inquiry as soon as possible.
5. Quotes and Invoicing - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
5a) All our Quotes are valid for only 7 days.​
5b) All our quotes are inclusive of GST.
5c) All Vehicle Window Tinting quotes exclude the front windscreen glass, canopy windows and sunroofs, unless they are specifically written on your quote.
5d) Modifications to your car window seals are excluded unless they are specifically written on your quote.
5e) Our quotes will be accurate and based in accordance to the details that you have advised.
5f) If any incorrect information was provided to us, or there happens to be an error on our end, we will notify this to you. We will then amend your quote and your invoice for payment.
5g) Proof of your original written quote, including amendments, and written agreements may be required.
5h) All quotes and invoices will be sent via SMS, email, or social media.
5i) If you, or your company requires us to have any ‘non compulsory insurance, you will need to mention this prior to obtaining your quote.
5j) If you choose a particular tint that we do not have in stock, we can order it in for you. In this case, a fee of $25.00 will be charged per order, and a deposit of 50% of the total amount quoted will also be required. This order fee and your deposit will not be refundable.
5k) If you are unsure of which window tint to choose from, and have chosen our Virtual Quote Service, it is your responsibility to request to view all our window tint samples that we have available. You will be required to purchase our tint samples, and prepay all costs for postage and handling.
5l) All windows that require a custom sealed edge to obtain a gap free installation, located between the area of where the window tint meets the window frame, are not included in your quote unless it is specifically written. This rule applies to all timber frames, and some aluminium frames also.

6. Booking Appointment Rescheduling - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
6a) Your bookings appointment will need to be rescheduled if the weather is not suitable for installing the Window Tinting or any other related works. We will contact you via phone as soon as possible, or via SMS, and offer some new booking options.
6b) Due to unexpected delays, including our daily work load, we may be running late on the day of your booking appointment. When this occurs, we will contact you via SMS or call as soon as we possibly can to update our ETA. In some cases, we may also need to reschedule your appointment for another day.
6c) If a job requires more than one day to complete, or we can not complete your job request between the hours of your appointment and the daylight available to us, we will offer our next available appointment to complete our works. Please note, that a daily progress payment will need to be paid for the works that have been complete, and a call out fee will be charged to you accordingly.
6d) Booking cancellation can only be made in writing, and at least 12 hours prior to your booking appointment via the same method used to create and confirm your booking appointment including SMS, email, and social media.
6e) In the case of a late booking cancellation, a progress payment will be required if we have already commenced works, and this includes travelling to your location.
6f) If you happen to cancel your booking appointment and do not wish to reschedule for a new appointment, all cash deposits paid for stock orders will not be refunded.

7. Automotive Tint Warranty for all vehicles - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
Automotive Window Tint Warranty terms, conditions and agreement for all vehicle types and for customers invoiced by ABN: 81183816545 t/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS.
7a) All our Window Film applications, fittings and installations come with our Lifetime Installation and Workmanship Warranty, plus our 10 year Product Warranty.
7b) Our Lifetime Installation and Workmanship Warranty, and our 10 year Product Warranty is covered for all window films that are supplied and fitted legally to your vehicle, or to a vehicle in your care, and all works are performed and completed by ABN: 81183816545, t/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS.
7c) Our Lifetime Installation and Workmanship Warranty covers any defect that may arise from improper installation, fitting, or application of any legally permitted Window film that we have supplied, fitted and installed on your vehicle, or to a vehicle in your care.
7d) Your car window Tint 10 year Product Warranty is covered for faults and defects that include: cracking and crazing, or if it becomes blurry and hard to see through, or begins to peel, split or delaminated, or if it has bubbled or blistered, or if excessive fading or discolouration is visible, or if insulation protections have failed, or have significantly reduced or decreased over time.
7e) All modified weather strips and glass window seals by Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS are fully covered under warranty, including damages caused to the window tint.
7f) If any of the issues that are stated in section (7b) (7c) (7d) (7e) occur during your car window Tint warranty period, we will remove or replace your window tint free of charge.
Note: If a replacement Tint is required for any reason during your warranty period, we will choose to apply a tint that is suitable and that will match as close as possible.
7g) All glass windows that have been tinted by Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS and later installed on your vehicle by someone other than us, will not be fully covered on the warranty. In the case of a warranty claim, all related labour cost to access the glass will be quoted and charged to the customer accordingly.
7h) If another layer of Tint has been applied on top of a window tint that was original installed by Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS, all warranty will be void, unless Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS are applying, or have applied the second layer.
7i) All heated windows with heating elements that are attached to the glass will risk being damage during the process of removing the Window film and residue. Damages that may be caused during this process cannot be claimed under warranty.
7j) All heated windows with heating elements that are attached to the glass will risk being damage during the process of applying, fitting and installing the Window film to your vehicle. Damages that may be caused during this process cannot be claimed under any of our warranties.
7k) If any of the issues that are stated in section (7g) (7h) (7i) (7j) occur during your car window Tint warranty period, we will remove or replace your window tint according to our stated agreements.
Note: If a replacement Tint is required for any reason during your warranty period, we will choose to apply a tint that is suitable and that will match as close as possible.
7l) In the case of a warranty claim, a callout fee will be charged according to the distance between the location and suburb of your vehicle, and the location of ABN 81183816545 t/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS. This includes charges for our flights and accommodation if it’s required to complete our works.
7m) Scratches and damages to your window Tint and glass, that may be caused by poor maintenance practices, wear and tear, weather strips, glass window seals, window opening mechanism, accidents, neglect, breakage, repairs, replacements, or cleaning techniques are not covered under warranty.
7n) Damaged glass and damages to your window film that may be caused by the use of tools like for example a grinder, welder, screwdriver or panel beaters repair using heated spray booths and other tools and equipment are not covered under warranty.
7o) Bubbles and other defects on your Window tint that are visible prior, during, or after installation, and are caused by direct contact of Grinding and welding sparks or damaged glass from the use of certain tools are not covered under warranty.
7p) Damaged glass and window film damage caused by seatbelts, jewellery, toys, equipment, pets and cargo that have made Direct contact to your tinted window are not covered by warranty.
7q) Damage to your window film caused by flooding or by having been submerged in water is not covered by warranty.
7r) If your Window has already had a window tint applied to the glass by someone other than Action Tint SEQ, or SEQ TINTS, and you have requested us to apply another layer on top, all our warranty will be void.
7s) All issues that are stated in section (7l) (7m) (7n) (7o) (7p) (7q) (7r) are not covered under any warranty.
7t) If you require to colour match your vehicles driver and passenger front door glass to the privacy glass, or factory original tinted glass, we will recommend you to install a Window film that is legally permitted.
Note: privacy glass, or factory original dark tinted glass is fitted from factory to all the windows that are located behind the driving seating position. This glass is much darker and a different colour to the glass that’s fitted from factory to your Driver and front passenger door glass.
Note: If you choose to ignore our recommendations, please be mindful that all legal responsibilities and consequences are totally yours.
7u) If you require to colour match your vehicles existing tinted windows, or to a window film that has previously been applied, fitted or installed, we will measure the glass VLT and advise you of the closest legally available match possible. If a closer possible match happens to exceeded the darkest legal permitted, we will advise this to you and go through our recommended options.
Note: If you choose to ignore our recommendations, please be mindful that all legal responsibilities and consequences are totally yours.
7v) We understand that customers may change their mind between the time of their inquiry and their booking appointment date and choose to have a different Window film installed. If this happens to be the case, please be mindful that the final Tint choice, selection, and legal obligations of driving a vehicle with legally fitted Window Tinting on Queensland roads, and other Australian state and territory roads are totally yours. This rule applies to the owner and driver of your vehicle, or the vehicle in your care.
7w) Special care instructions: please avoid handling and cleaning your window tint for 48 hours after installation. We recommend cleaning the Tint with a product that is safe and suitable for tinted windows. Please ensure that the product you purchase specifies that it’s safe to use on tinted windows, window tinting, window tinting films, and follow all instructions that are on the products label.
Note: if you have accidentally used a product that is not suitable for a tinted glass, please contact us immediately to ensure that your Tint has not been damaged. This type of inspection is free of charge.
7x) If you choose to ignore our recommendations stated in sections (7t) (7u) (7v) (7w), you may encounter legal issues and consequences. These may include roadworthy certification issues, defect notices, fines, penalties, demerit point loss, loosing your driver’s licence, insurance claim refusal or rejections, legal fees, court fees and costs, and compensation claims that may be alleged against you.
These legal issues and consequences, including penalties may apply directly to the driver of the vehicle, the owner of the vehicle, and the Company business owner or a Person that is responsible for the vehicle, or if the vehicle is in your care.
​7y) If you chose to order a specific window film that we do not stock, and have provided us with your glass dimensions, film choice, and we have made payment to order your stock, all the stock ordered for you by ABN: 81183816545 T/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS is not covered under warranty. This means that if there is an error on your order that is on your behalf, you will be charged for the replacement Tint, for the cost of postage, and an addition Call Out Fee will be charged to you if applicable. Orders for stock purchased are non-refundable and All film will remain property of ABN: 81183816545 T/an Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS, unless the Window film is installed on your glass.
7z) To claim a warranty, a copy of your invoice paid in full will be required, together with your drivers license as a form of ID.
Note: it is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your personal and vehicle details that were originally provided to us.

8. Flat Glass Tint Warranty for Residential, Commercial and Industrial - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
Window Tint Warranty terms, conditions and agreement for all Residential, commercial and industrial buildings and for customers invoiced by ABN: 81183816545 T/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS.
8a) All our Window Film applications, fittings and installations come with our Lifetime Installation and Workmanship Warranty, plus our 10 year Product Warranty.
8b) Our Lifetime Installation and Workmanship Warranty, and our 10 year Product Warranty is covered for all window films that are supplied, fitted and all works are performed and completed by ABN: 81183816545, t/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS.
8c) Our Lifetime Installation and Workmanship Warranty covers any defect that may arise from improper installation, fitting, or application of any Window film that we have supplied, fitted and installed on your glass or windows.
8d) Your 10 year Product Warranty is covered for faults and defects that include: cracking and crazing, or if it becomes blurry and hard to see through, or begins to peel, split or delaminated, or if it has bubbled or blistered, or if excessive fading or discolouration is visible, or if insulation protections have failed, or have significantly reduced or decreased over time.
8e) All modified weather strips and glass window seals by Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS are fully covered under warranty, including damages caused to the window tint. This apply to all glass and windows that slide open, and are in Direct contact, or rub against a weather seal when sifted between an opened and closed position.
8f) If any of the issues that are stated in section (8b) (8c) (8d) (8e) occur during your car window Tint warranty period, we will remove or replace your window tint free of charge.
Note: If a replacement Tint is required for any reason during your warranty period, we will choose to apply a tint that is suitable and that will match as close as possible.
8g) All glass windows that have been tinted by Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS and later installed on your Residential, commercial or industrial buildings by someone other than us, will not be fully covered on the warranty. In the case of a warranty claim, all related labour cost to access the glass will be quoted and charged to the customer accordingly.
Note: Our warranty is void if a glass or window is fitted exposing the surface of the glass on which the film has been applied to, unless a window film that is specifically designed to be installed on the exterior surface of the glass has been applied.
8h) If another layer of Tint has been applied on top of a window tint that was original installed by Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS, all warranty will be void, unless Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS are applying, or have applied the second layer.
8i) All windows risk being damaged during the process of removing the Window film and residue. Damages that may be caused during this process cannot be claimed under warranty.
8j) All windows risk being damage during the process of applying, fitting and installing the Window film including thermal stress. Damages that may be caused during this process, or caused by glass faults and weaknesses, cannot be claimed under any of our warranties.
8k) If any of the issues that are stated in section (8g) (8h) (8i) (8j) occur during your window Tint warranty period, we will remove or replace your window tint according to our stated agreements.
Note: If a replacement Tint is required for any reason during your warranty period, we will choose to apply a tint that is suitable and that will match as close as possible.
8l) In the case of a warranty claim, a callout fee will be charged according to the distance between the location and suburb of your glass, window or property and the location of ABN 81183816545 t/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS.
8m) Scratches and damages to your window Tint and glass, that may be caused by poor maintenance practices, wear and tear, weather strips, glass window seals, window opening mechanism, accidents, neglect, breakage, repairs, replacements, or cleaning techniques, are not covered under warranty.
8n) Damaged glass and damages to your window film that may be caused by the use of tools like for example a grinder, welder, screwdriver, painting equipment or other tools that will cause damages are not covered under warranty.
8o) Bubbles and other defects on your Window tint that are visible prior, during, or after installation, and are caused by direct contact of Grinding and welding sparks or damaged glass from the use of certain tools are not covered under warranty.
8p) Damaged glass and window film damage caused by household items like a toys, furniture, curtains or blinds, pets, that have made Direct contact to your tinted window and stove, cook top, sinks, bathtubs, spa-baths, showers are in direct, or close proximity to an internally fitted window tint are not covered by warranty.
8q) Damage to your window film caused by flooding or by having been submerged in water is not covered by warranty.
8r) If your Window has already had a window tint applied to the glass by someone other than Action Tint SEQ, or SEQ TINTS, and you have requested us to apply another layer on top, all our warranty will be void.
8s) All issues that are stated in section (8l) (8m) (8n) (8o) (8p) (8q) (8r) are not covered under any warranty.
8t) If you require to colour match your glass, or factory original tinted glass, with a replacement glass that’s been fitted, we will choose the closest match.
Note: To match your glass, or windows close to 100%, all glass specifications need to be exactly the same. The Window film brand, type and batch needs to be the same also.
8u) If you require to colour match your glass or windows that have a window film applied, attached or installed, we will measure the glass VLT and advise you of the closest available match possible.

8v) We understand that customers may change their mind between the time of their inquiry and their booking appointment date and choose to have a different Window film installed. If this happens to be the case, please be mindful that the final Tint choice, selection, and legal obligations are totally yours. This rule applies to the owner of the glass, window, and the person in care of your property.
8w) Special care instructions: please avoid handling and cleaning your window tint for 48 hours after installation. We recommend cleaning the Tint with a product that is safe and suitable for tinted windows. Please ensure that the product you purchase specifies that it’s safe to use on tinted windows / window tinting, and follow all instructions.
Note: if you have accidentally used a product that is not suitable for a tinted glass, please contact us immediately to ensure that your Tint has not been damaged. This type of inspection is free of charge.
8x) If you choose to ignore our recommendations stated in sections (8t) (8u) (8v) (8w), you may encounter legal issues and consequences. These may include issues relating to Real Estate agent agreements, hazard due to reflection, complaints by neighbours, body corporate and Property Maintenance. This may cause you legal fees, court fees and costs, and compensation claims that may be alleged against you.
These legal issues and consequences, including penalties may apply directly to you and the Company business owner or a Person that is responsible for the property, or if the property in your care.
8y) If you chose to measure your own windows for a free quote, and have provided us with your glass dimensions, film choice, and payment to order your stock, all the stock ordered for you by ABN: 81183816545 T/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS is not covered under warranty. This means that if there is an error on your order on your behalf, you will be charged for the replacement Tint, for the cost of postage, and an addition Call Out Fee will be charged to you if applicable. Orders for stock purchased are non-refundable and All film will remain property of ABN: 81183816545 T/an Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS, unless the Window film is installed on your glass.
8z) To claim a warranty, a copy of your invoice paid in full will be required, together with your drivers license as a form of ID.

9. Trade, Businesses & Companies - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
9a) All window tinting related works will be invoiced under SEQ TINTS or Action Tint SEQ, with ABN 81183816545.
9b) Contractor forms and all other legal paperwork required from your company will need to be approved prior to your booking appointment, and prior to commencement of any of our works.
9c) Your Company is required to advise us of any compulsory and non compulsory insurance, prior to obtaining your quote for our services.
9d) Advise you Company payment cycle practice, and payment agreement with all terms and conditions prior to commencement of and of our works or services.
9e) Companies are required to advise of any general induction requirements to any of your work-sites prior to obtaining your quote, and your booking appointment confirmation.
9f) A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount quoted may be required prior to commencement of our works.
9g) Booking appointment cancelations in writing via SMS are required 24 hours prior to your booking appointment approval and confirmation. Call out fees and other related charges will be invoiced for late booking appointment cancelations.
9h) Trade customers are only covered by our Installation Warranty unless agreed upon by contractual agreement prior to hiring us to complete our works.
9i) All Companies and Businesses are required to agree to a contract for any ongoing works by SEQ TINTS or Action Tint SEQ, with ABN 81183816545.

10. Our rights to refuse our services - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
10a) SEQ TINTS / ACTION TINT SEQ - (ABN 81 183 816 545) reserve the rights to refuse our services to customers that do not respect or agree with one or more of our - Terms, Conditions, and Our Services Agreement (version 28.5.25)
10b) We will not tolerate disruptive, uncooperative, abusive or threatening behaviour.
10c) We will refuse our services if we believe that it may pose a safety risk.
10d) Intimidation will not be tolerated, including online threats and online defamation.
